I just started with this Engineering firm (civil) and they are running AutoCAD 2002, my problem is that Express tools is not working at all, the icons are there, the ACET files are present. I get this message ; error: no function definition: ACET-AUTOLOAD2, does anyone know what may be wrong with my application? Every express command is followed by unknown command. Can anyone out there help?!!
demandload is currently set to 3
I was wondering is the express folder suppose to show up in the Working Support File Search Path as it does in the Support File Search Path?
Have you tried the command EXPRESSMENU or MENULOAD and see if E.T. is in there? if not:
Use Windows Search, find where the EXPRESS folder is in your PC.
Go to OPTIONS and add the new path to that folder.
EXIT Autocad and restart is required to make it work.
I had to reload it from installation disk. so now that I reloaded it I still cannot get Express tools to work, I have file in search path, loaded express from menuload everytime I start up it says, error; bad function, I even loaded the Expbuilder.dll (2) files, at this point I dont know what elso to do. I show a happy face with sunglasses icons, I'm at wits end!! Any other ideas?
Find acettest.fas, acetmain.hlp, acetmain.cnt, and acetfaq.hlp files and move them to Express Folder.
On the command line, type appload and press ENTER.
Under Startup Suite, select Contents and choose Add.
Select the acettest.fas file in the Express Folder.
Restart AutoCAD.
Type in: expressmenu on the command line
Hope this will work
