Align multiple single line text objects

how can I align multiple single line text on a vertical plane?

Select the text and in the Properties palette, change the "Position X" value to what you want. Type the value instead of picking a point.

What are you doing/not doing that you cannot? Can you not pick a line of text from its justification point? Can you not use this point to "track" from another line of text at it's justification point? Do you not know the height of your text if you want the multiple lines of text equally spaced like a paragraph? Can you not draw a line, in which to align all text to, by their respective justification points? Do you not know how to use the align command? Can you not use the margin and ruler in the text editor? Do you not know AutoCAD very well or drafting?
