Hi,
I am trying to implement the facility of creating tables in 2006 but since we have various AutoCad versions (2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006) at the office, these is becoming more a problem than a solution.
When I opne a file made in 2006 with a table in paper space, 2002 simply does not open. I have looked for service packs, object enablers and so on but unfortunetaly nothing is showed.
When I open in 2004, I tried to do some arrangins. Copied the table in model space and it is viewed beautifully. But when I try to bring it into our standardization - to draw tables in paper space (bring it form model with change space), it crashes, I mean, the table is not showed.
So I wonder if there´s anyway Autodesk think about companies that need to send their files to other companies (as dwg) and make this new facilities good for all.
Thank you!
Carol

Batch Drawing Converter works and is free from AutoDesk.
For internal use, upgrade your remaining 2002 soon, in the meantime, refrain
from using items not stock in the far-lower versions if you have to... . We
all have a mix, it's best if you always try not to be a format version
behind though after three releases, that's too much of a variation in a
single office IMHO.
For external sharing, EXPLODE all none 2004/5/6 content, or just don't use
upgraded content in those projects.
Other solutions from outside autodesk exist too.

Hi Dean,
Unfortunately Batch converter did not work. Can I be doing anything wrong?
Thank you,
Carol

Are you using fields in your tables?

Yes, simple numbers and texts.. No formulas or anything more complicated.
