my otrack all of a sudden doesn't work correctly anymore? When i track off something it jumps to a totally different spot on the screen? If i track 8" off a wall it will go to some other place but the 8"? Any idea what it is? Thanks.

Does the file have any 3D or Z coordinates? This might throw it off also.

If you used snaps to draw the line it might still have Z coordinates.
