    Drawing numbers in layouts

I tend to produce several layouts using one Model space drawing. Is there a non-LISP way that I can assign sequential drawings in a particular format to each layout I create? I would like for this to be placed in the title block of each Layout.

For example, I have nine layouts for my project code 241, so I want Layout 1 to be Drawing Number 241-S001, and Layout 2 to be 241-S002 and so on up to 241-S009. In this way whenever i create a new layout, there would be a prompt for me to accept the Drawing number of 241-S010

C'est possible? Maybe in ACAD 2006 or ACAD 2011?

Do you use SHEETSET Manager at all? If you want a built-in sheet management, you've got to use the tools.

Your fear of Lisp is short-sighted, or you are really using LT: which is it :smileyhappy:
