    Unique AutoCad Problem

I started using AutoCad 2000 a few months ago and I have been having a
problem pop up randomly ever since. I will be working along and
suddenly my screen is showing a screen from sometime in the past. It's
just as if the past hour or however long never happened. If I UNDO, it
undoes from that point. And Regen just regens at that point also. It
is not putting me back to the last autosave, because I autosave every 15

min and I lost probably an hour's worth of work. It seems to happen
more often when I zoom, but the last time I was inserting a block when
    it happened.

The problem has occured half a dozen times and I uninstalled and
reinstalled AutoCad after it happened the first couple of times. It's
not happening to anyone else in the office, so it's not a bad AutoCad
    disk.

Has anyone else ever heard of this problem, and more importantly, do you

know any way to solve it?

Please e-mail me presonally if you have any advice.

    Set ISAVEPERCENT to 1
    Set ISAVEBAK to 1
    Set SAVETIME to 15

Do not rely on Autosave, learn to QSAVE, and have a good back-up & restore
    procedure.

As far as the problem causing this I would look into that, which would
require more detail as to what your PC is, what OS, Memory, etc...
