I read in Cadalyst that in Acad 2004 that besides
having a "right-click", they have just now added
a "long press", that can bring up a context menu.
Ten years ago SoftEngine provided single-click, dbl-click
and long press events for every mouse button, which was
soooo useful to us customizers.
Maybe in 10 more years, Autodesk will catch up to
SoftEngine's 1993 technology.

You misunderstand. I'm talking about the ability to
program 3 different functions to each mouse key,
depending on which of the 3 types of clicks I mentioned.

Where is softengine now? Now there's your answer about catching
up and why it took so long to implement.
