startup template

The same question maybe asked thousand times by others before. Can anybody tell me how can I changes the default template to others which I want. Everytime I startup acad2002, It display a blank template. If I press 'new' command, it will show me the template I prefer. But for conveinance, I prefer everytime I double click the acad2002 icon & autocad start with the my prefer template rather than blank template. Thanks for anybody's help.

Start with specific drawing template
http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS17888

Add startup switch (you want /t)

What about options/"file" tab/"drawing template file location" Seems simple
but why doesn't this work?

That (changing the path) just points AutoCAD to a folder (location for the
templates) where using the /t switch in a start-up switch allows you to
specify which "specific" template (.DWT) to start AutoCAD up with. The /t
switch will use whatever DWT file is specified as long as it exists and is
in that pathed folder.
