"Unable to Load Graphics System Driver"

Upon starting AutoCAD 2000i I get the dialog box: " Load Graphics System Driver". The default file is acgs.dll. After I select ok I get the warning box containing the message: "Unable to Load Graphics System Driver" and AutoCAD shuts down with the fatal error message: "Unhandled access violation reading 0xffffffff exception at 401205ah".

How do I get AutoCAD up and running again?

I am using a stand alone station.

Thanks.

Try a repair re-install of AutoCAD, answer yes to replace all
files.

Dean,

Thanks for the tip. I must have somehow inadvertantly erased a necessary file (or two). It works okay now.
