oversized Insertion points

When plotting and reopening files the insertion points for systems furniture are now over sized. Does anyone know how to change the settings to resize these insertion points? If I explode the blocks, to remove the insertion points, then I loose the attributes.

As far as I know insertion points don't show up unless you have actually
placed a point entity there. If that is the case then go to "Format->Point
Style..." and choose whatever option you want. The first one is nothing if
that's what you want.
