network runtime switching?

I want to know more information regarding the new functionality of switching from network user to stand alone user. Might be possible you provide me with information about the options this feature offers ?
I belong to a company with more than 30 AutoCAD2000 users and wish to gain some mobility when users work off the premises.

David,

The 'License Configuration Switcher' utilises the
'softlock' Standalone License Manager technology in conjuction with FLEXlm. In
essence when the users are connected to the network they use FLEXlm network
licensing. When they wish to disconnect, a program is run that switches the
licensing mode of AutoCAD from using FLEXlm to using the Standalone License
Manager. The network license count is NOT decreased therefore a
mix of network and standalone licenses must be purchased. Generally this
functionality is available outside of North America, I do not know at the
present time if the 'softlocked' version is definitely available for purchase in
North America as an option. The functionality does not work with the standard
ACODE locking prevalent in your region.
