lost command line

I know that there is a likely remedy for this problem. But I have lost my command line and for some odd reason I can't get it back. I have tried going to tools, options, and changing the number for command line. I have not been able to find it in help or in any Autocad Manual. I think there is about ten of us that have lost it and figured out how to get it back, but ofcourse no one remembers how we did it.

thanks in advance

Temporarily increase resolution on your monitor and drag the command line back in. (Everyone has forgotten this at least once.) Bob

From post in R14 group

Reduce screen size to 640x480 and set the windows task bar
to
"autohide"  Then launch AutoCAD and minimize it.  The command
line will
then be  vizible and can be dragged up onto the
screen."

Another trick is to dock your windows taskbar to the side of the
screen
or possibly stretch it up, over, etc... It's there, just might not
be
obvious.  One other comment is to look at

and the QuikPik
utility... toolbar locking is
just one of the many features it
provides.
