hardware lock error

The message 'Hardware lock not found or improperly installed' occurs, during
execution of some vba-macros.
It's an AutoCAD2000 installation and there is no printer or other device on
this computer - like written in TS37694 or
http://support.autodesk.com/knowledgebase/html/160075.htm.
If I use an older version (three weeks ago) of our vba-code the message will
not be displayed. But the changes in code are *really* independend from
hardware lock!
I develop the code under AutoCAD 2000i so the error never occurs. But we
ship the code to the "hardware lock"-version AutoCAD and it crashes.

Any ideas?
Tanks!

Peter
