Has anyone had this problem--blocks appear in your drawing, but you can't
find them anywhere--I can even erase everythingin my entire drawing and it
still leaves 10-12 blocks that "cannot be purged." No xrefs are attached.
Is there anyway to clean this up--where should I look for these blocks?

thanks. . .kelly

Get SuperPurge from www.manusoft.com. That will get rid of them.

I have run into this before....
I had to WBLOCK via a selection set.

The classic way to Purge.

You could also redefine these blocks to something you see, and then erase
them... .

Kelly,

Try this...

- Turn on and thaw all layers
- Zoom Extents, Zoom .8x
- Begin the Erase command and at the select objects prompt, type ALL
- While still in the select objects prompt, press R to remove
- Pick everything on screen with a crossing window
- Press return to erase what you can't see, then purge again.

This process doesn't require any additional software, if it works for your
conditions.

Hope that helps,
