Try reloading ACMTED.ARX from the support directory.

In addition, make sure that the "Demand load ObjectARX apps" is not disabled in the Options->Open and Save dialog. Jeff "OLD-CADaver" wrote in message news:32643161.1080334541970.JavaMail.jive@jiveforum1... > Try reloading ACMTED.ARX from the support directory.

Good, now we know tha it wasn't being DEMANDLOADed. Follow Mrs White and Mishler's advice and set DEMANLOAD=3. Then make sure the support directory is in the search path.

You might try "REDEFINE" "MTEXT"
if someone has set "UNDEFINE" "MTEXT" they have told ACAD that "MTEXT" is not a command (an old prank)
You can "UNDEFINE" any command
