Template Settings Keep Changing

Hi,

I created a drawing template for my company to use, it has all of our standard text sizes, dim styles, lineweights, colors, so on and so forth. I saved the template in the template folder...Everytime I start a new drawing, and insert the template all of the settings are not there. If anyone knows of a way to fix this any info would be great.

You OPEN the template then SAVEAS to create a new file, you don't INSERT the template into a an existing file: your current file's content and settings override all imported conflicting settings. An AutoCAD 101 fact of life.

I take it you also missed a step in template creation? If it's not a DWT extension file then it's open to being overwritten and changed. With a DWT file, you cannot overwrite it with SAVE by accident like you can with a DWG file.
