Smiley face after simple toolbar edit

I made a simple edit to one of my toolbar buttons. I merely deleted a
repeated command and when I restarted AutoCAD, the faces were back. Why
does this keep happening to me? I never used to have this problem. Is
there something I'm forgetting when I make an edit?

I HATE THOSE SMILLEY BUTTONS!! Please Autodesk, give us a
workaround to such obnoxiosity!

Autodesk has a valuable resource called Knowledge Base on its
web site.  Go there and type in smiley faces and there you go.

I think you need to recompile your MNU file.

BE more specific: which menu file did you edit, what did you take out, what
did you add.... Menu smiley faces is a simple fix, if you follow a certain
procedure.
