first off what type of mouse is he using and second is the proper driver
installed......
there is an option in the mouse properties that sets the wheel to the middle
button function......
shift and right click will bring up short cut menus unless this has been mod
by the user in the right click customization
i was using a 5 button optical that didnt have the right driver and could
not set the setting myself
in cad you also have to set the mbuttonpan variable to 0 unless he wants to
pan and zoom with the middle button
