Screen menu keeps minimizing

For some reason my screen menu keeps disapearing (or minimizing) for no apparent reason. I still can select it and resize it, but then, after a while it "shrinks" again.

It seems that the SREENBOXES variable resets itself to 1 when I close all may documents, but this is not necesarilly a rule.

Is this a known issue? Could somebody tell me what causes this, and how to fix it?

Are you running Acad2000, or 2000i?

This is a bug in 2000i - and 2002 didn't fix it. Hopefully 2004 does fix
it - if the screen menu still exists.

This happens if you close all drawings and then close AutoCAD. The
"trick" is not to close all drawings before closing AutoCAD. Yes it is
annoying.
