License Error

I have an error message come up when I try to open AutoCad 2000i, it reads:
"There has been an unexpected error with the license management system. Please contact your system administrator or authorized dealer. Error (16.1.7)"

followed by another error message that reads:
"Fatal Error, The security system (softlock license manager) is not functioning or is improperly installed"
The produch is licensed and has been authorized, there are two more machines with AutoCad on and they work fine.....CAN ANYONE ADVISE?????
