I facing the following problem when hatching a particular drawing let say at hatch scale 100 using a particular hatching style. When transfer the file to another person using the same version of autocad, she complained that she can't using hatching scale at 100 but have to using different hatching scale in order to match the existing one .
Any suggestion ?

Thanks

Well... I'm sorry to hear that.

Altough I have not heard a feedback from the
original poster.

I'm affraid I can't help you much
more.

The most often cause for this innability to match
properties of hatches scale is the use of both metric and english standards in
the same drawing.

When MEASUREMENT is set to "0", AutoCAD uses the
hatch patterns defined in the "acad.pat" file

When MEASUREMENT is set to "1", AutoCAD uses the
hatch patterns defined in the "acadiso.pat" file

The most common situation for this problem is when
I insert objects created in a drawing with MEASUMENT set to 0 in a drawing with
MEASUREMENT set to 1, or vice-versa.

When I try to match a new hatch to one of the
inserted, the Hatch scale does not match (one is ANSI and the other is
ISO)

Remmember at this time that the hatch scale does
not change when I change the MEASUREMENT system variable.

This is, if I create an hatch with a specified
hatch pattern and scale, change the MEASUREMENT value and create again the same
hatch with equal pattern and scale, the hatches WILL be different. (this
behavor does not happen with the DDIM command, for instance).

You could also look at the MEASUREINIT system
variable, but it is no so likely to help because, as the AutoCAD help states
"The MEASUREMENT setting of a drawing always overrides the MEASUREINIT
setting."

Another situation, that I find unlikely to be
happening, is that the *.pat file in use had been redefined.

In anycase you must check that the hatches
definitions that were used for the first hatch, are the same that are in use
when trying to Match Properties between hatches.

Hope this is clear enough. Sorry if I sound too
basic, Freedy.

And also HTHTT (Hope This Helps This
Time)
