Extracting Attributes

I am creating a legand, similar to a door schedule, and I need to extract my attributes.
Is there a way to extract this info INTO an excel or word template??

It doesn't make sense to always have to format the table
ie font, size, shading.

I am using AutoCAD 2002.

check out this site Cadaddon, they have a pretty useful program for linking Cad to Excel for creating tables, counting blocks, etc. I just started playing with it, so not an expert. I think it was like $88 for single user.

You can try ATable for AutoCAD 2002 v5.6 which can
extract attributes from blocks.

It can make different tables in AutoCAD drawing.
Only $20!

ASE was removed in Auto CAD 2002 and later.

If you are interested inthird party tools, also look at
<> and <>.

If you are interested in doing it yourself in LISP, see the tools on the
download page at http://www.fleming-group.com
