Extension 1 - Product Manager - Resume

Hi,

I would like to get as many as possible harvested. But every PC isn't
accessible at the same time. I then save the search, Open the search again,
uses Run search and resume search. But if a PC on the first search was
having not status OK, it doesn't update if it really is OK the next time,
only if I do a completely new search but then I loose those that have there
PC off at that moment. Can this be solved within the product? I know I can
workaround this by using MS Access and a bit of unioning.

Hi Jimmy,

I just did this and was able to run the saved search again, and add the
systems that were not reachable the first time through. Can you tell us the
status of the systems that are not reachable? Are these systems that are
turned off and later turned on?

Thanks

Hi Bud,

The search I used to continue with might have been done with the beta.
Anyway I can't reproduce it myself this time. But the status of the non
updatable system was unreachable. I'll let you know if it happens again.

One thing I noteced was the following scenario.

Let's say I do a search day 1.
Day 2 I upgrade AutoCAD on a PC.
Day 3 I do a resumed search

The change that happend day 2 doesn't seem to be updated in the search on
day 3.

Is this by design, or can it be fixed to handle even changes that happen?
