Error (1.1.13) - License Management System

Help!

After installing ACAD 2002 (Full Version) an error message appears when trying to run the application: "AutoCAD 2002 Alert - There has been an unexpected error with the license management system. Error 1.1.13.", after dismissing the error message the application quits.

Re-installing ACAD 2002 has no effect. Previously ACAD LT 98 and LT 2002 were installed and LT 2002 was removed but LT 98 retained.

Machine is Win 98, PIII 866MHz, 256 Mb RAM and 19 Gb HD (9.07 Gb free).

Need resolution PDQ! Any ideas??

The most common cause of this error is a problem with the hard disk or
hard disk controller. At least one local fixed disk must be present and
working correctly for the license manager to function.

In the first instance check the System Information/ WinMSD report under
the Problem Devices section.

Check for the presence of removable drives.

Issues found to have caused this error in the past

Fault with the hard disk controller
Faulty hard disk cable
