DIMENSIONING W/ DIMCONTINUE

Can someone give me some advice with a dimensioning
situation.

I have two drawings, in one them when I do a dimcontinue

I can just keep picking point after point after point
with no keyboard or mouse intervention.

In the other dwg when I do a dimcontinue I have
to confirm the measurement, after each pick.

Can someone please tell me what setting or variable
is causing the dimcontinue to act differently.

I'm not sure if this will fix it or not, but you
might give it a try... In the dimension style settings box, in the "fit"
tab, do you have "place text manually when dimensnioning"
face="Times New Roman" size=3>checked? Having that UNchecked might help you
out.
