Cannot open LISP and VBA Help Files

In the Contents section of the A2Ki on-line User Documentation, the topics under both the VisualLISP-AutoLISP-DXF and ActiveX-VBA sections return the error message: "Cannot open the file: @MSITStore:acad_dev.chm::/vlr.htm:". What's up with this? All the other topics in the Contents section display OK and
our search paths under the file settings appear to be pointing to the correct folders.

Thanks

The "AutoCAD Visual LISP and ActiveX Help" is in
C:\Program Files\ACAD2000\HELP\acad_vlg.hlp.  If you don't see that file,
you probably need to rerun AutoCAD Setup & ask for those help files to be
installed.

John,

I could not find the vlg.hlp file on any PC in house.
The LISP and VBA help contents show up just fine on some systems but not others. We do have vlg.chm and vlg.lim files on every system. I've copied the contents of the help folder from systems that work to systems that do not, but to no avail. The install procedure was identical on every PC. ???

hello,

there is no acad_vlg.hlp in 2000i but
acad_vlg.chm.

acad_vlg.hlp is for acad2000.

and I have the same problem with 2000i, but
everything is ok if I run help outside autocad.

perhaps a DDE error, I had DDE problems after
that...

I use NT4 SP5

Same problem on 98

any iddea ???

I too am able to browse through these help files outside
of AutoCAD. I can't imagine what DDE has to do with accessing these or any other help files, thank you.
