Can't stop net search

When I do a Properties or Tool,Options the PC searches the network. All my Acad files are on my Workstation and there are NO network lists in any search paths? Pleas help.
The commands work fast if I pull my Network cable out.
Thanks MGEEE

If your drawings are on the network and you are
opening the drawings by clicking on them in windows explorer. That will cause
this type of problem. First open autocad then use open to find your drawings. If
this isn't the case I don't know what else could cause this.

Luck

You most likely have a shortcut link to a network folder or drive in your
AutoCAD search path.
