Autocad 2000 and Problems in Win2k

We just upgraded a few pc's from pentium 200 pro to p4 1.4. The new pc came
with win2k pro and the old ones have nt4 wkst. On the new ones, whenever I
open a file that is in use, it takes about 15 seconds to tell me it's in use
and I can only open it read only. However, on the slower pc's running nt,
the message pops up immediately. On all the other files that are not
opened, it opens up immediately. Is there a problem with win2k and locked
files in autocad??

Please help,

Ryan

Not the same problem but I have found 2K has some problems talking to the NT
server or other devices. I'm to the point that I would rather load NT on a
new machine than 2K for AutoCAD 2K.
