2000i Insert Command

In 2000i the insert command creates a dialog box. This is interfering with some of my favorite symbol libraries that I used in R14. I know about the -insert command but this can't be used in my symbol library. Is there any way of changine the insert command? Thanks in advance.

You'll have to explain why -insert can't be used
with your symbol library.

In 2000i, the insert command was changed to automatically bring up a dialog box. Cmddia and Filedia has no effect on this command as in R14. The symbol library that we have is a purchased library that works off a executable file. When the symbol is selected the dialog box pops up and discontinues the insertion of the symbol. Is there a way of preventing the dialog box of appearing in 2000i.

the new dialog box free command is -insert with the -

you may need to contact the people you purchased the library off of and see
if they have an updated one..

or you could see if you can open the file and change all the "insert" to
"-insert"

or you could get into REDEFINE and UNDEFINE commands in AutoCAD thing: but
I would try getting an updated version of your add-on for 2000/i/2 first.
