Hologram?

Hi.

I am creating an animation from a Max scene that is going to be played on a video screen floor made up from tiles.  At the moment the animation is a plan view using a single camera directly above the scene.  The problem is that when viewed from anywhere other than directly above, it is obvious that the objects have no depth as the camera is orthographic projection.

Q.  Is there any way I can create an animation that will give depth and can be viewed from all sides e.g. creating a hologram?

Thanks,

T

Render it from multiple cameras I would think but I don't have a clue how holograms are created.

Hello-

The closet thing I can think of is the stereo camera (3d).  Here is a link about it:  http://area.autodesk.com/blogs/louis/stereo-camera-tool-overview---3ds-max-2014-extension

Hopefully someone else on the AREA might have some insight.

Best Regards.
