how to export .wire format to IGES in alias 2009

i have to export model done in Alias 2009 to IGES or any 3d format to render in hypershot plz let me know the answer ASAP

Just go to file>save as and click on the option box. In the window that opens click on the box next to "file formats" the default is wire but you can scroll down to iges and you probably can leave the different flavors at "default" unless there is a specific program you will be opening the file in. This is just saving the file as iges. I don't know if you can export as iges. I always use this proceedure.

File > Export > Active As let you save to all the same file formats than File > Save As. Useful if you want to export only selected geometry and not have to clean your file first if they are construction curves, hidden geometry, etc. in it.
