CV curve snapping failure

I need HELP! I hope there is someone who is able to solve my problem.
I can't place CV curve on the center plane (X-Z), everytime I try to palce a point on that plane it takes place randomly. 😞
I guess it's snapping problem.

The really funny thing is that so far it was so great 😄 But now it's not willing to work properly...

Thanks for helpful answers.

regards,

Janos

Hi,

Are you using ALT to snap to grid?

Did you change default hotkeys ?

Did you try to snap to grid, without using hotkey, and by activating the snap to grid button on top?

If button is activated, and you press ALT to snap, you will be disabling the snap.

Is it fixed now?

First of all, thanks for quick answering.

I'm designing a car model, so I'd like to use the center (X-Z) plane as a mirror plane.

I do know everything about snapping options, Alt and hotkeys.

So far I was able to draw on this, by using snapping options (Alt, too). and it worked.

But now, I don't even have any grid or construction plane in the center, that is why all my placed CV points are located randomly int the space.

/I haven't changed default hotkeys at all.

Hi.

May be a graphics card issue....

Can´t think of much else.

But if it worked well before....

By the way SP2 is out.

You can try to delete alias default preferences, and restart it fresh.

Sorry, can´t be of much more help.

Hope you fix that soon, and let us know what the heck happened.

Good luck!

Hi,

Finally, I've succeeded to solve the problem. It was about construction plane, somehow I managed to turn the center plane off, so that I couldn't draw on it at all.

You can easily switch it on by using construction plane editor.

located in: Windows/Editors/Construction Plane Editor

Good luck to us all!
