I'm having an issue with Alias autostudio 2015 running very slow on my workstation. This is a high spec machine and by the looks on it none of the hardware is being strained yet alias has become very unstable.
Current specs...
Dell 6700 covert
8 core i7
32gb Ram
4gb Quadro
By looking at task manager when the programme is freezing, I can see the cpu is only under 15% load and 6GB of ram is being used, leaving a high percentage free.
Is this an issue with the programme or some settings?
Wow.. are you using this Intel® Core™ i7-5960X Processor Extreme Edition processor ? You said that this is a 8 core processor.. this is the only i7 with 8 cores. I think it is just 8 threads and 4 cores for your Dell M6700 Covert. Are you running the latest version and service pack for Alias Autostudio ? What kind of task are you performing where you encountered freezes for Alias ?
