Split/trim two curves with each other where they intersect.

Hi there,

out of curisity instead of working with keypoint lines I wanted to split and trim NURBS curves I drew by hand and it seems Alias cannot split them where they intersect as well as it can only fillet between two curves as long as they dont overlap.

Am I right in the assumption that Alias cannot do this and is more a surface modeler with not so strong curve tools like for example Rhino?

Thanks

Claas

Try the "Curve Section" tool, in the curve edit menu. You can use it to trim curves at intersections, break curves at intersections and also add an edit point at intersections.
