Alias Design 2014 Unable to Move Points

Full Disclosure: I am very new to Alias.

I'm reverse engineering a mesh and have projected curves onto it then made an array of Fit Curves to work with.  Before creating surfaces, I am working to tie endpoint CV's to other curves so everything is lined up.

Typically I use Pick Edit > Transform > Move and Curve Snap - works great.  Then, occasionally, it just stops working.  It lets me pick and snap, but when I release the left mouse button, the edit point just snaps back to its original location.  If I close and restart, the operation works fine for a while until the same thing happens again.

Am I unwittingly getting into some state that I'm unaware of or is this possibly a 2014 "feature"?

Think I answered my own question - maybe. If I delete the construction history for Fit Curves that don't want to snap, they seem to work. So, maybe the Transform's I'm trying to do are valid on some but not others depending on whether or not it agrees with the construction history?

Yes, it is the history that is doing that. You should delete it.
