Advance Steel - Medidas

Olá a todos,

Gostaria de saber, como mudar a unidade de medida do Advance Steel, ao invés de polegadas gostaria de deixar essas medidas em milímetros, porém as demais medidas do software já estão em milímetros, somente isso está errado.

I hope you will understand English, because I don't know Portuguese 🙂

It seems that you have an English-US installation, suitable for USA, Canada or other countries that use Imperial system, not metric.

There are a lot of settings that depend on the installation system, and having Imperial installation will creates you problems for all phases.

That's why I recommend you to make another installation, using English International settings.

To do that, first you have to uninstall the current version.

Go to Control Panel, select Advance Steel and Uninstall.

After that, you have to manually delete the following folders:

C:\ -> ProgramData -> Autodesk -> Advance Steel 2015
C:\ -> ProgramData -> Autodesk -> Advance
C:\ -> Program Files -> Autodesk -> Advance Steel 2015
C:\ -> Program Files (x86) -> Autodesk -> Advance Steel 2015

Note: it is possible that not all the above folders exist on your computer.

Then you can make a new install.

You have to choose English International instead of English-US for Product language and content.

This choice is appears right after the license type and product information window.

Then you will have all the settings for Metric system.

Once in a while we can have projects from different countries.
