I am running 2000 and am inserting blocks with certain attributes. I am able to extract these attributes and import them to MS Access. I have been able to link the Access database file to the drawing and view and edit the the Access file from the linked dwg file. My question is: Is there a way to link the Access file so that editting the database will update the attributes in the dwg file?

Autodesk does not provide that facility. It takes some custom
programming; there are third-party applications that link to Excel, but
I don't know of any that link to Access.
If you change your attributes into "labels", then they can be updated
from the Access file but they cannot be changed from the drawing.
Labels are covered in the help file and in "AutoCAD Database
Connectivity", Scott McFarlane, ISBN 0766816400,
If you are interested in doing some custom programming yourself I can
help. Or, you could contract me to do it.
