Firefox doesn't login to The Area

Recently, as in the past week I have been unable to login to my Area account with FireFox (30.0).  I'm presently logged in with IE, which is not my default browser.

No problems here with Firefox 28.0. Try clearing your cache and deleting cookies - I had to do that a couple of times during the move to these forums last year, but not recently.

This is the first time I experienced this. I deleted all my cookies and cache and the problem continues, arghh !

We have no known log on issues at this time.

Please make sure you are not blocking scripts in you browser suce as lithium.com, addthis.com and autodesk.net.

I also recommend allowing cookies for the community

Particularly make sure addthis.com needs to be allowed in scripts.

Hope this helps

I have disabled all blocking extensions for firefox, including firewall / antivirus programs. The problem continues. This is the URL I get when click the login text to login.

(there's more, I removed for my own security reasons)

That's normal - the login is done via the accounts site, all part of the "single signon" procedures. Occasionally it does seem to hang - when it does I just click my forums bookmark again and it all works.

After a week time, I was able to log-in to The Area with Firefox this morning. I hope the problem doesn't re-surface !

Thank You !

Aren't you the lucky one - I couldn't even get to the login page this morning. An hour or so later and it was fine. Gremlins...
