Good question. A better one would be "Does the Add to My Favorites button actually do anything?".
As I can't answer either of them, I'll try and get an answer for you. However, you'll have noticed the "Area Forum Migration" sticky post in most forums so you know there are changes being made in the near future. As those changes involve moving to completely different software, I have a suspicion that any other changes/corrections to the existing site may well be on hold until after those changes are made.
