Create NEW Polygons between two existing polygons (MESH)

  • I have two square polygons side by side (Image 2). I want to add a third polygonal area in between them (Image 3).

Hi,

Select the edge between the two polygons, and from the Edit Edges rollout

Click the small settings button near Extrude, and from the Extrude Edges dialog set the

Extrusion height to 0, and set the Extrusion Base Width to the amount that you want.

HI Mate.. Just delete the verical line then select the middle edge and select chamfer from Modify> Edit Edges> Chamfer. Now Alt+C for cut tool to make verical cut as shown in image 3.

Hope this will help.

Thanks and Regards,

Irshad Shah
