Popup: Error Creating File Output

first i create one scene use 3dsmax cn version and set output, then open it in 3dsmax en version.
when i render, it shows one popup dialog: Error Creating File Output.
I'm sure the output path is exists and have write permission.

English version won't understand Chinese characters - they'll be illegal. Make sure that the filename contains only standard ASCII characters. This is more likely an OS issue than a Max specific one.

Max 2016 (SP1/EXT1)
Win7Pro x64 (SP1). i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX11.
nVidia GTX760 (2GB) (Driver 430.86).

I tested it. The output filename are all ASCII characters. the error still popup. And if the scene is created in en version, and can't use cn version render too. the error is same.

Including the Path to the file, not just the filename? I only have Engish versions of Max (and Windows) so I can't test anything here. If the output is going to the RenderOutput path of the Project then check the Project Path as well.

Firstly, you have little choice - you are always a project whether you realise it or not, although you can override the output path on the Render Settings dialog (which I assume is what you're doing).

Attaching files - see this post.

I had the same problem, or something similar when trying to save.

Tried different things and the solution for me is when saving, the name already displays the extension. That gave me the problem. (i think it had something to do with the * or so)

So when saving i just deleted the extension in the name bar and it worked..

Don't know if it helps for the render but it might be a similar solution.
