Need Help about Gizmo Move tool

hey guys , i have problem here and would appreciate any help.

on last version of 3ds max when Moving Arrow gone , u can appear it again by hitting X

 

now on 2014 they changed the button , by hitting X it just appear the search thingy , what the new button to appear Move Arrows again ? becase mine gone and i have no idea how to get it back , thank you 🙂

They didn't change the shoutcut key, they removed it. About time too given the hundeds of threads here by people claiming they can't work because the gizmo isn't visible. (They could, of course, but generally don't realise that they can).

Is the Gizmo totally invisible? Views (menu) > Show Transform Gizmo.

Is the Gizmo red/grey (as when the Select tool is active)? Customise > Preferences > Gizmos (tab) > ON (at the top/left of the dialog tab).

If you want it back set a shortcut key for it in Customise > Customise User Interface. "Show Transform Gizmo" is the Action you need.

Max 2016 (SP1/EXT1)
Win7Pro x64 (SP1). i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX11.
nVidia GTX760 (2GB) (Driver 430.86).

The short cut is - Ctrl+Shift+X

The action is called:

"Transform Gizmo Toggle"

So you can assign a different key to it if you'd like.
