3ds max 2015, "Loading of software driver failed"

Hello,

I have a problem with 3ds max 2015. Everytime i run the program I get one or several pop-ups that says "Loading of software driver (HeidiDriver.drv) failed. Forcing Null driver mode". I'm still able to use 3ds max but sometimes it acts weird or doesn't start at all.

When I try to install the recommended intel graphics drivers, it says that my computer doesn't meet the requirements, so it might be an issue with the driver. However, I've used 3ds max on this computer and with these drivers for several months without problems, so I don't see why it should suddenly be an issue since I haven't updated 3dsmax or anything. 

The problem has been going on for about a week and a clean install didn't help. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Hi, there is a lot of things causing this problem.

First, tell us what is the model of your graphic card and wich drivers are installed.

And what is your operating system?

Meanwhile, you can look at these:

- Disable any screen saver and restart 3ds Max

- Reinstall directx

- install the latest drivers for your graphic card

- Try to reset 3ds Max to default settings, http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max-design/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/...

- In 3ds Max, try to switch your viewport display drivers between Nitrous Direct3D, Software and legacy.

I tried resetting to default settings and it seems to work fine now, thanks a lot!
