Zooming from orthgraphic view to perspective view

Hi all,

everything's in the the title.

Is there a way to zoom out from an orthgraphic view and NOT end up in user orthographic view but perspective instead? I'm pretty new to Max and I love it but having to hit P each time I zoom out from orthographic is really a nuisance...

AFAIK no.

No.  User views and Perspective views are very different styles.  

But you can have up to 4 different viewports going, so one can be User and another Perspective, then just switch between them.
