I have to apologize here, the image is so small I can't make out the details. Is the problem the green and white uv lines in the unwrap or the blurriness of the texture on the model next to it? Thank you for the info.

Looking at your screenshot, I believe the textures appear blurred because your texture resolution is set to 512x512 by default. This will result in very blurry textures.
To increase this:
1) press the little "+" button on the top-left of any viewport.
2) Select "Configure Viewports" from the menu that appears
3) The Viewport Configuration window will appear. Press the "Display Performance" Tab on the top-left of this window.
4) Enter "4096" into the "Texture Maps" Resolution. By default it is 512.
Hopefully that is the solution to your problem! Unfortunately, this setting never seems to be permanent for me! I have to update it all the time!
