Unable to use ViewCube with DX10

Hi all,
i found a probable bug in 3D studio max 2010 x64.

My Video Card supports DirectX 9.0 and DirectX 10.

If I work with DX 9.0 I can use the ViewCube but, if I change the Direct3D version from 9.0 to 10, the ViewCube disappears from viewports and I can't enable it from "Views" menu.

First image represents Direct3D 9.0 settings. You can notice the ViewCube on the upper right corner.

Second image represents Direct3D 10 settings. There is not ViewCube on the corner.

Finally, third image represents the "Views/ViewCube" submenu. There is no options.

Here is my Computer specifications:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
CPU: Intel Core i7 860
VGA: XFX GeForce 8800 Ultra 768MB DDR3 - PCI-Express 1.0 (DX9 and DX10)
RAM: 4GB DDR3

Thank you :)

1) Switch to DX9 - DX10 is flaky at best.

2) Please do NOT post in the "bugs thread" until your issue has been confirmed by other users. All 9 of them (so far) have been removed from that thread. The rules for posting there are very clear.

Max does not support DX10, it does support DX9.
If you choose to use DX10 with Max you will have problems.
Use DX9.
