There are no caustic photon emitters in the scene

Hello people, this may be a repeated question but the problem is little different.
I am working on 3ds Max & my project consists of
1.A simple plane with "Recieve caustics enable"
2.A torus knot with a glass material and "Generate caustics enabled"
3.A mr Omni light source
In render Setup,"Caustics" and "Final Gather" are enabled.
But still if "Render" is clicked,an error pops up-"there are no caustic photon emitter in the scene"

What am I missing & what should I do?

Assuming you are running Max 2011, you need to activate Generate Caustics for the Light in the object property menu; it is no active by default.

Edit: Sam was just a second faster than me. 😞

You must enable caustics for the light too.
