Revit file linking not working

I open up file link, find a file and 3dsmax pops up and error ( Linkin gan Autodesk file requires Autodesk REvit Interoperability for 3dsmax. Autodesk Revit Interoperabitily for 3dsmax is not installed on your system. Please consult your installation guide for details on how to install it.

Its definitely installed, I've completed a reinstall of it and also the update1 RXM2014-64_Update1.

I tried file link earlier on and gave up because of the same error, I'd like to get it sorted this time as I will more than likely be seeing more of Revit files.

regards

I still haven't got this working.

Can anyone suggest any way to get this to work ? I really don't want to have to re-install 3dsmax 2014 as I have a bunch of plugins that would need re-installing too.

cheers

Old thread, but I also cannot link to a Revit file with my Max.

All 2015.

I get an error saying Revit is not Available.
