Randomizing values for SKEW modifier on all selected objects.

Hi,

I want to apply SKEW modifier to all planes in the viewport, and randomize the value within a specified range. (i.e. amount=x, where -40<x<-10).

Similarly, I want to also be able to create planes at random sizes within a specified range
(i.e. 20<width<40, length=width*1.4~2.2)

Is there a easy way to do this? or does it involve something i remember being called maxscript?
Or, is there a plugin to do this without having to learn how to script?

Thanks alot!

Maxscript would be the way to do that. It is a scripting language that allows you to access and automate various tasks.

A tool that someone else created that may do what you need is Zorb.
