Problem with Material Editor in 3ds Max

Hi!, I just installed 3d Max and I have encountered a problem in the material editor, since in the Material / Map Browser appears not map any bitmap and style. No may be happening.

This is the view that the program gives me when I try to add a map:

If someone could help with this issue would be very grateful, do not understand why this happens.

Yea, I have the exact same problem. With the slots being a light grey, and the map browser being very wierd and not responding. Email me PLEASE if you found a solution: JoeyEvans21@hotmail.com

Hi, in the material/map browser, click on the black arrow on the top left corner and make sure everything you need is selected ,for example, materials, maps etc...
